In order to organize posted stories neatly and efficiently for reading, a "Post Story Format" standard will be posted here to show requirements and conditions that must be met when your work is posted.
Feel free to add-onto the format, but a few characteristics are mandatory or highly recommended.
NOTE:
1) Do NOT post a reply to someone else's story in the same thread. Feedback, comments, and criticism have their own board, here. In order to read without interruption and get the best experience out of reading, please try to keep this in mind.
2) Please create a 'Table of Contents' in your first post. This is highly recommended, but not necessarily mandatory. In order to use proper coding, please take an example of Chronicles by Lunar.
Ex:
I. The Offer
3) Use a different post per chapter. A huge text dump in one thread is bound to exceed the character limit and be cut short unless your story has no sections or chapters due to it being a 'Short Story'. It's recommended to number your chapters.
4) Use the enter key between paragraphs. The tab key doesn't show up on forum posts, and separated paragraphs make the story easier for people to read.
5) One feedback/comment thread per story. Use spoilers if necessary to not ruin the story for someone else who ever so unfortunately enters the thread and hasn't read the latest story update.
6) Completed stories will be LOCKED. Please use the Help Board to notify a staff member or contact one with the authority through the Chat-Box.
Thanks to Lunar for format idea ~ !
